A few weeks ago we spent the morning in Louisiana. It felt weird saying that we were going to Louisiana but it really is just a hop, skip and a jump away.
In Shreveport, which is a little less than an hour away, there is a FABULOUS children's museum and we have some friends that got us in for free - sweet! We were there all morning and still didn't see it all. I can't wait to go back.
Even though we weren't that far away from Texas and we weren't gone very long, there was something so comforting about crossing back over the Texas border.
There's no place like home, right?
