That's what Jackson said as we played outside in the snow this afternoon. We don't get much snow around these here parts so it's quite the spectacle when we do (the shelves clear out at Walmart, church is cancelled, and people talk about it for days prior and after).
We came home early from church this morning just as the cold rain turned to ice. We sat in our warm house for a couple of hours waiting for that ice to turn to beautiful flakes. Then during the middle of watching "Superman Returns", I looked out the window to find it had finally happened. It was snowing - big, beautiful, fluffy flakes. It was fabulous. We sat and watched the world around us turn white and tried explaining to the children that we couldn't go out until it stopped snowing so hard.
After a few hours of watching the winter wonderland appear before our eyes, the snow stopped. Despite the freezing temperatures we bundled everyone up in what hats, gloves and scarves we could find, tied the kid's feet in grocery sacks and out we went. It was a fabulous snowy day. I wish they weren't so few and far between.
Take a look.
It didn't take long for the snowballs to fly.
We started to get a little cold.
So we threw a few more snowballs before heading inside to warm up.

I love the pure joy on their faces! Yeah for snow fun. The bags on their feet made me smile. We did the same to Donaven.
