Here are some things we've learned about our William -
- He grunts more than he cries.
- When he is awake you really get the sense that he is taking in everything he sees and hears.
- He holds his head really well.
- He doesn't like having his cheeks squeezed.
- He is trying to set a record for most pooped in diapers in a 24 hour period.
- He has finally figured out the nursing thing and does it often.
- If he is fussy, a good tight hug from mom or dad can usually calm him right down.
- He sleeps really well at night. Generally only waking once around 1 or 2.
- If you swaddle him, don't include his arms in the swaddle. He needs those free to...do something really important I'm sure.
- He didn't like baths at first, but now he really seems to enjoy them
- He has been giving more smiles (doubt they're intentional yet). When he does his entire face lights up and can turn any bad day into the best day ever.
- When placed in his crib awake, he will immediately turn to the side, stare and coo at his blue and white chevron bumper.
- He doesn't mind diaper changes but beware, you must do them quickly or you will get soiled.
- He likes to lay on his quilt from Oma and read books with Jackson and Caroline
- And he is still the sweetest little guy around.
