The best

Sometimes I feel like the worst mom.  Sometimes I feel like the best.  Surprising the children with an after school trip to the splash pad helps me to feel like I'm in the best mom category.  I pretty much decided with one foot already out the door to pick J up from school that we would spend the afternoon splashing away at our awesome new splash pad.  The children were thrilled with the news and I was so happy to make them happy.  And though I'm not excited for triple digit temps, I am excited for all of the fun that accompanies those warmer days.
