It's taken me forever to get to this second and final installment of our weekend with Fletcher. This past week has been a bit crazy. Thanks for waiting.
We had such a great time having another Newman kiddo in our house for a couple of days. He and Jackson loved playing together and it was so neat to sit back and watch their imaginations soar. What a fun pair these two are.
One sentence we heard more than any other while Fletcher was here was, "Is it time to play video games again?"
They probably could have stayed this way all weekend had we let them. But then we wouldn't have had any pictures like this one.
The Saturday he was here we took him to one of our favorite parks here in Longview and took advantage of their splash park. Summers in Texas must involve water especially if you want to be outside for more than 2 minutes without melting into the pavement.
We ended the night with some garage door theater fun.
Chad brought home a projector from work, hooked it up to the laptop, closed the garage door and we added some popcorn and excited little kids. It was SO fun, a huge hit with everyone. Everyone, including the neighbors.
We so enjoyed having Fletcher here to stay with us. We look forward to having him again.

I heart the video game picture. I laughted outloud. Also, I still get a kick out of what a sensational hit your garage door theater was! We have such a great stalker like neighborhood. I'm so glad you had such a fun time with Fletcher. Judging by the photos he's already counting down the days until he gets to come back and visit!

i love that you guys watched a movie outside of your garage! so fun! thanks for finally blogging...sheesh! haha just kidding! i do look forward to your posts though! ps. i really haven't forgotten about your table. i'm hoping to head out that way after kindergarten roundup tomorrow. :)
